You will be proactive and tenacious in finding the true explanations for stock moves and feeding story ideas, issues and tips to our teams covering the daily flow of regulatory, earnings and event-driven news on the United States largest corporations.
You will be able to quickly develop and cultivate a wide circle of contacts in the Wall Street trading world, asking the right questions, and never shying away from picking up the phone.
Initiative stories that catch the latest trend in a particular stock or markets at large

About you-

Minimum 6+ years into Markets and emerging, Stocks, journalism
The Senior Correspondent will be expected to work hand-in-hand with the stock markets team and editors in New York and with colleagues across the newsroom in Bangalore covering global stories, supporting the Markets Editor.
The ideal candidate will pay great attention to detail and have an aptitude for numbers. S/he/they will be comfortable using Reuters data to identify and explain stock-market trends.
Excellent news judgment is required and strong writing skills will be an advantage.
