Senior AVD VDI Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Azure Active Directory for Azure Virtual Desktop related systems
• Analyze system performance indicators and recommend improvement actions for AVD-based production configuration
• Manage Azure Active Directory for Azure AVD and Azure AVD Clusters HA systems
• Manage and deploy updates via Azure Update Manager
• Update the AVD image based on business requirements provided by the client, including monthly security patches, updates required to support client enterprise release and version upgrades of software that has been operationalized
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of VDI environments, including servers, storage, networking, and virtual machines
• Manage and optimize the performance of the VDI infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability with Terraform
• Create, update, and respond to monitors of the AVD environment
• Help in management of the business applications that are installed on Azure VD
• Improve and adjust Azure VD
• Ensure business continuity and security across all systems supporting the company IT operations

Skills Required

• Minimum of 10+ years of related experience in AVD VDI
• Decent knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Azure ecosystem
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Azure Virtual Desktop Solution
• Strong hands-on experience in Azure Virtual Desktop Operational Support
• Good knowledge of Azure AVD publishing applications, web server load balancing, Resource Manager, License Management
• Good hands-on experience in automating upgradation/migration, remediation, jobs, and report tasks by creating PowerShell CLI scripts and PowerShell and Batch scripts
• Create all necessary documentation including system standards, run books, and more

The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
