Senior Automation Tester

Responsibilities:

Comprehensive Testing Skills:

• Proficient in developing tests for both frontend (UI, mobile) and backend (API, integration, component) systems.

Programming Proficiency:

• Strong skills in programming languages such as Python and Java.

Automation Expertise:

• Proficient in the creation, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts utilizing Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, BDD Cucumber, and Rest

Assured Mobile Testing Experience:

• Extensive experience in mobile testing using tools like Lambda Test, Browser Stack.

API Testing Skills:

• Proficient in API testing with tools like Rest Assured and Postman.

Scalable Solutions:

• Ensure automation solutions are scalable and reusable across different projects.

Collaborative Approach:

• Work closely with QA analysts, developers, and business analysts to identify automation needs.

Requirement and Design Participation:

• Participate in requirement gathering and design sessions to provide input on automation feasibility.

Test Execution and Analysis:

• Execute automated test scripts, analyze results, and report defects.

Regression Testing:

• Perform regression testing and validate application functionality.

CI/CD Integration:

• Proficient in working with DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or ADO etc..Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving automation processes and tools.

Continuous Learning:

• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in automation testing.
• Training and Support:
• Provide training and support to team members on automation tools and processes.
• Effective Communication:
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
