Senior Automation Test Engineer - Load Testing

• Involved in the planning, design, management, execution, and reporting of tests using appropriate testing tools and techniques.
• Work with Development, Architects to lay down load testing strategy
• Analyze requirements, and closely work with customer to transform requirements to use cases on expected deployments
• Plan, develop and communicate the test design during test specification development with focus on both the functional and non-functional requirements for testability against the technical acceptance criteria and quality metrics
• Utilize performance tools, analyzing results, resolving performance related issues, including optimization and tuning
• Prepare benchmark setups and test different SMART load scenarios to ensure issues are uncovered early
• Prepare and maintain historical data for comparative study of performance data.
• Excite and motivate fellow practitioners and set them up for success in completing their scope of work
• Perform the role of a Specialists who primarily apply their technical skills in the implementation environment
• Proactively find way to optimize day to day work, automate.

Skill Requirement:

• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in Load Testing
• Expertise with industry standard Load testing tools such as HP Load Runner, Performance Centre, Jmeter and K6.
• Knowledge on Postman required.
• Proven knowledge of Testing manual/functional testing processes, methodology, defect management and defect life cycle.
• Proven ability in HTTP, HTTPS, and TCP/IP performance considerations
• Passionate towards automation
• Hands on experience on API Testing preferred
• Knowledge on Rest APIs is a must
• Experience with N-tiered web application architecture (web, app, database)
• Preparing Performance Test Strategy is added advantage
• Experience in Operational readiness testing, CPU, physical Memory, and disk usage analysis
• Quickly learn new concepts and software as necessary.

• Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation and standard methodologies
• Hands-on database experience

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge in banking and finance domain is a plus
• Knowledge in Low Code environment like Appian/Mendix is a plus
