Senior Android Kotlin Engineer

Job Overview:

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in developing enterprise-level Android applications using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Java, with a focus on producing clean, maintainable, and reusable code structures. In-depth knowledge of Git, GitLab, and CI/CD build pipelines, including skills in branching, merging, and optimizing pipelines.
• Experience in the banking or financial services sector.
• Hands-on experience in Agile development methodologies.
• Experience in maintaining build servers and performing basic scripting tasks.
• Proven track record of writing thorough unit and integration tests.

Key Duties:

• Design, develop, and support enterprise-level Android applications.
• Create modern, responsive user interfaces utilizing Jetpack Compose.
• Collaborate effectively with product owners, architects, QA teams, and backend developers.
• Implement secure and scalable mobile solutions tailored for banking and financial services applications.
• Enhance application performance, stability, and overall user experience.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines while supporting build automation processes.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and promote engineering best practices.

Technical Qualifications:

• Strong expertise in Kotlin and Java programming languages.
• Extensive experience with Jetpack Compose for contemporary Android UI development.
• Solid understanding of the Android SDK, Android Architecture Components, and the mobile application lifecycle.
• Capability to produce clean, maintainable, reusable, and scalable code in alignment with best practices and design patterns.
• Experience in implementing MVVM, Repository Pattern, Dependency Injection using Dagger and Hilt, as well as modular application architectures.
