Senior AI Engineer

Job Overview:

• Senior AI Engineer focused on creating scalable LLM and NLP solutions for managing high-volume customer interactions.
• This position will lead the implementation of architectural best practices and foster innovation within voice AI systems.

Core Responsibilities:

• Core Responsibilities
• Design and develop AI-powered IVR and conversational systems utilizing Python.
• Develop NLP models for text classification and clustering to enhance intent detection and call routing.
• Conduct data analysis using SQL.
• Create and implement LLM workflows, including prompt engineering and RAG evaluation for both voice and chat applications.
• Oversee the development of agentic AI workflows for multi-step customer interactions.
• Establish LLMOps best practices that encompass monitoring, evaluation, and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with IVR platform, speech engineering, and product teams.
• Provide mentorship to offshore and junior AI engineers.

Technical Qualifications:

• A minimum of 9 years of experience in AI and ML.
• Exceptional proficiency in Python.
• Demonstrated expertise in NLP, including:
• o Text classification
• o Clustering
• Extensive experience in data analysis utilizing SQL.
• Practical experience with LLMs, encompassing:
• o Prompt engineering
• o Evaluation frameworks
• o Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Agentic AI and multi-agent orchestration.
• Background in LLMOps/MLOps within production settings.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies.
• Tools and Libraries
• Python ML, NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, XGBoost
• NLP libraries such as spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers, NLTK, and Sentence Transformers.
• LLM frameworks including LangChain, LlamaIndex, and OpenAI SDK.
• Agentic AI tools (preferred): LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI.
• Database technologies: SQL, Oracle, MySQL, SQLAlchemy.
• Vector databases: FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant.
• LLMOps/MLOps tools (preferred): MLflow, Weights & Biases, BentoML, Airflow.
