Selenium and API testing Expert

Key Responsibilities:

Automation Testing:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium
• Execute automated regression and functional test suites
• Enhance and optimize existing automation frameworks

API Testing:

• Perform API testing using appropriate tools and frameworks
• Validate data integrity, response codes, and backend services
• Identify and report API defects and integration issues

Programming & Framework Development:

• Develop test automation scripts using Java
• Contribute to building and maintaining reusable test components
• Support framework enhancements and debugging

Manual & Functional Testing:

• Understand business requirements and create test scenarios and test cases
• Perform functional, regression, and system testing as required
• Ensure end-to-end validation of application workflows

Defect Management & Reporting:

• Log, track, and manage defects using tools like Jira or similar
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues
• Provide clear test execution reports and status updates

Agile Participation:

• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
