Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Security Specialist in Infrastructure Security, you will use your technical expertise to implement and deploy Cloud & Infrastructure Security services for client billable offerings. You’ll partner with development, services, and network teams to ensure the technical solutions you deliver are effective and remain aligned for incident resolution needs.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Implement Security Solutions: Create and execute implementation plans, testing plans, and deployment plans using security technology and solutions to satisfy client requirements. This includes developing proof-of-concepts and ensuring the integrity and resilience of critical networks/systems.
• Provide Technical Guidance: Deliver technical guidance and support to clients and IBM teams operating in multi-vendor, multi-protocol environments. Apply deep expertise in infrastructure security capabilities, including Firewalls, SASE, WAF/DDOS, and Micro Segmentation.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with development, services, and network teams to ensure the relevance and effectiveness of technical solutions delivered for incident resolution.
• Support Client Requirements: Use technical expertise to support service products by leveraging assets and reference architectures, aligning with client requirements for Cloud & Infrastructure Security services.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Exposure to Infrastructure Security: Experience with infrastructure security elements such as Firewalls, SASE, WAF/DDOS, and Micro Segmentation to secure cloud and infrastructure environments.
• Implementation Planning: Exposure to designing and executing implementation plans, testing plans, and deployment plans using security technology and solutions to meet client requirements.
• Multi-Vendor Environment: Experience supporting clients and personnel with technical guidance in multi-vendor, multi-protocol environments.
• Cloud & Infrastructure Security: Exposure to applying technical expertise to support service products using assets and reference architectures for Cloud & Infrastructure Security services.
• Incident Resolution: Experience working with development, services, and network teams to ensure the relevance and effectiveness of technical solutions provided for incident resolution.
  
  

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Advanced Security Technologies: Exposure to emerging security technologies and trends in Cloud & Infrastructure Security, including threat intelligence, advanced threat protection, and security orchestration.
• Multi-Cloud Environments: Experience working with multiple cloud providers, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and securing infrastructure across these environments.
• Scripting and Automation: Exposure to scripting languages, such as Python or PowerShell, and automation tools, such as Ansible or Terraform, to automate security tasks and workflows.
