Your Responsibilities

As a Security Specialist: Endpoint Security, you will be tasked with the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of security solutions to safeguard organizational endpoints. This position includes the deployment and configuration of various security tools and solutions to uphold the security and integrity of organizational systems.

Your Core Responsibilities Will Include

• Deploy and Configure Security Tools: Implement and set up tools such as host-based firewalls, host-based IPS, antivirus, file integrity monitoring, and MDM solutions to secure organizational endpoints.
• Monitor Systems for Alerts: Proactively monitor systems for alerts and notifications, taking appropriate measures to address potential security threats.
• Conduct Basic Threat Analysis: Perform basic threat analysis and incident response tasks to identify and alleviate potential security risks.
• Maintain Security Documentation: Ensure the accuracy and currency of security documentation to comply with organizational security policies.
• Support End-Users: Assist end-users in understanding security policies and procedures, offering guidance on best practices for endpoint security.

Essential Technical And Professional Expertise

• Exposure to Security Tools: Familiarity with the deployment and configuration of security tools, including host-based firewalls, host-based IPS, antivirus, file integrity monitoring, and MDM solutions.
• Experience with Threat Analysis: Exposure to basic threat analysis and incident response, aimed at identifying and mitigating security risks.
• System Monitoring: Experience utilizing system monitoring tools to detect and respond to security alerts and notifications.
• Security Documentation: Familiarity with maintaining accurate and current security documentation to ensure compliance with organizational security policies.
• Endpoint Security Best Practices: Experience in applying endpoint security best practices and guiding end-users on security policies and procedures.
