Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Security Specialist: Endpoint Security, your key duties will involve implementing, monitoring, and sustaining security solutions to safeguard organizational endpoints. This position entails the deployment and configuration of diverse security tools and solutions to ensure the safety and integrity of organizational systems.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Deploy and Configure Security Tools: Set up and configure tools such as host-based firewalls, host-based IPS, antivirus software, file integrity monitoring, and mobile device management (MDM) solutions to secure organizational endpoints.
• Monitor Systems for Alerts: Continuously oversee systems for alerts and notifications, taking appropriate actions to address potential security threats.
• Conduct Basic Threat Analysis: Perform basic threat analysis and incident response to detect and mitigate potential security risks.
• Maintain Security Documentation: Keep precise and current security documentation to ensure adherence to organizational security policies.
• Support End-Users: Assist end-users regarding security policies and procedures while offering advice on best practices for endpoint security.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Exposure to Security Tools: Familiarity with deploying and configuring security tools including host-based firewalls, host-based IPS, antivirus software, file integrity monitoring, and MDM solutions.
• Experience with Threat Analysis: Knowledge of conducting basic threat analysis and incident response to identify and address potential security risks.
• System Monitoring: Proficiency in utilizing system monitoring tools to detect and respond to security alerts and notifications.
• Security Documentation: Experience in maintaining accurate and current security documentation to ensure compliance with organizational security policies.
