Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Security Specialist: Endpoint Security, your responsibilities will include the implementation, monitoring, and upkeep of security solutions designed to safeguard organizational endpoints. This position entails deploying and configuring a variety of security instruments and solutions to ensure the security and integrity of the organization’s systems.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Deploy and Configure Security Tools: Implement and set up security measures such as host-based firewalls, host-based IPS, antivirus programs, file integrity monitoring, and MDM solutions to secure organizational endpoints.
• Monitor Systems for Alerts: Vigilantly oversee systems for alerts and notifications, taking appropriate actions to counter potential security threats.
• Conduct Basic Threat Analysis: Perform fundamental threat assessments and incident responses to recognize and alleviate potential security vulnerabilities.
• Maintain Security Documentation: Ensure the maintenance of accurate and current security documentation to comply with the organization's security policies.
• Support End-Users: Assist end-users in understanding security policies and procedures, while offering advice on best practices for endpoint security.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Exposure to Security Tools: Familiarity with the deployment and configuration of security tools including host-based firewalls, host-based IPS, antivirus software, file integrity monitoring, and MDM solutions.
• Experience with Threat Analysis: Background in conducting basic threat analysis and incident responses to identify and mitigate possible security risks.
• System Monitoring: Experience utilizing system monitoring tools to detect and respond to security alerts and notifications.
• Security Documentation: Experience in maintaining precise and updated security documentation to ensure adherence to organizational security policies.
• Endpoint Security Best Practices: Knowledge of endpoint security best practices and experience in guiding end-users on security policies and procedures.
