Security Consultant (Zscaler & Prisma)

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Security Consultant to join our Cisco Secure Access Helpdesk team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in network security and secure remote access technologies. You will support enterprise customers in the deployment, migration, and ongoing management of secure access solutions including Cisco Secure Access SSE, Cisco Umbrella, Cisco AnyConnect, and related SASE/VPN tools.

Key Responsibilities

Cisco Secure Access Implementation & Migration

• Deploy and configure Cisco Secure Access SSE solutions for enterprise clients.
• Lead migration efforts from legacy SSE/VPN platforms to Cisco Secure Access.
• Provide post-deployment support, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer to clients.

Technical Skills & Solution Management

• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot:
• Zscaler SASE solutions
• Cisco Umbrella policies and DNS-layer protection
• Cisco AnyConnect VPN and other IPSec/SSL VPN solutions
• Cisco ASA / Firepower / similar firewall solutions
• Deep understanding of network protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN tunneling protocols
• Basic experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, cloud security, and endpoint protection technologies
• Utilize network monitoring tools to maintain security and performance standards

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in network security, secure access, or infrastructure support
• Hands-on experience with:
• Cisco security stack (Umbrella, ASA/FTD, AnyConnect)
• SASE solutions such as Zscaler or Prisma Access
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work in fast-paced, customer-facing environments

Preferred Certifications

• CCNA Security / CCNP Security or equivalent
• Zscaler Certified Professional, Cisco Umbrella Advanced Admin (optional but beneficial)
