Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Security Consultant with a focus on Application Security, your role will involve helping clients identify and remediate application security challenges, risks, and vulnerabilities through comprehensive assessments, workshops, and interviews. You will provide expert consulting to analyze and resolve security incidents, supporting clients in enhancing their overall security posture.

Your Key Responsibilities Include

• Security Issue Analysis: Conduct thorough assessments, workshops, and interviews to uncover application security issues, risks, and vulnerabilities, offering strategic recommendations for improvement.
• Security Strategy Development: Leverage security principles, application security technologies, threat modeling, and DevSecOps practices to define business objectives and formulate security programs, strategies, and incident response plans.
• Security Incident Resolution: Deliver consulting expertise to analyze security incidents, collaborating closely with clients to develop effective remediation plans and roadmaps for ongoing security enhancement.
• Client Collaboration: Engage with clients to understand their unique security needs and provide customized consulting services aimed at strengthening their security defenses.
• Implementation of Security Solutions: Deploy security solutions and advise on best practices to ensure clients achieve and maintain a robust security posture.

Required Technical and Professional Skills

• Application Security Exposure: Knowledge of security principles and familiarity with Application Security technologies, including threat modeling and DevSecOps methodologies.
• Security Assessment Experience: Proven experience conducting assessments, workshops, and interviews to identify application security issues, risks, and vulnerabilities.
• Incident Response Skills: Experience in analyzing and resolving security incidents, including developing incident response strategies and remediation recommendations.
• Security Strategy Formulation: Ability to apply security principles to define business drivers and develop comprehensive security strategies and programs.
• DevSecOps Knowledge: Understanding of DevSecOps best practices and concepts to assist clients in strengthening their security frameworks.
