Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Security Consultant focusing on Intelligence & Operations, you will be instrumental in assisting Client IT to recognize and tackle critical security challenges, vulnerabilities, and exposures. Your proficiency in security intelligence and operations will enable you to propose effective security strategies and mitigation tactics.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Develop Security Strategies: Utilize security principles, counter-threat intelligence, and your knowledge of security intelligence and operations to create and recommend effective security strategies, programs, plans, and mitigation measures.
• Enhance Security Posture: Implement proactive threat hunting and intelligence-driven defense strategies to strengthen Client IT's security posture.
• Articulate IBM's SIOC and SIEM: Clearly convey IBM's perspectives on the Security Intelligence and Operations Center (SIOC) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), including associated financial aspects.
• Leverage Threat Intelligence: Utilize practical experience with tools such as QRadar for analyzing and mitigating a variety of cyber threats.
• Collaborate with Clients: Engage closely with Client IT to comprehend their security requirements and deliver customized security solutions.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Security Intelligence Knowledge: Familiarity with security intelligence and operations, encompassing security principles and counter-threat intelligence, to formulate effective security strategies and mitigation measures.
• Threat Analysis Experience: Practical experience with tools such as QRadar to analyze and mitigate diverse cyber threats.
• Security Strategy Development: Background in developing security strategies, programs, plans, and mitigation measures to address significant security issues and vulnerabilities.
• Security Posture Enhancement: Experience with proactive threat hunting and intelligence-driven defense strategies aimed at improving security posture.
• Security Solution Delivery: Proven experience collaborating with clients to identify their security needs and provide tailored security solutions.

• Hands-on QRadar Experience: Experience utilizing QRadar for the analysis and mitigation of various cyber threats, enhancing security posture through proactive threat hunting and intelligence-driven defense strategies.

• Financial Implication Understanding: Experience in articulating the financial implications of security strategies, programs, plans, and mitigation measures, including IBM's SIOC and SIEM perspectives.
