Security Consultant

About the Role

We're looking for a motivated and skilled professional with expertise in Load Balancers (F5), WAF, Palo Alto Firewall, DDoS, and overall Network Security. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in firewall rule configuration, troubleshooting, and infrastructure monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage security and NAT rules on Palo Alto and FortiGate firewalls
• Configure security profiles, log forwarding, and zone security profiles
• Troubleshoot high CPU utilization, application issues (Layer 4 & 7), and NAT translation issues
• Manage GlobalProtect VPN configurations and application overrides
• Perform firmware upgrades and regular firewall backups
• Monitor devices, investigate alerts, and ensure infrastructure health
• Adhere to ITIL-based change and incident management processes
• Maintain inventory of all in-scope devices
• Provide monthly security augmentation recommendations
• Create and follow SOPs for configuration and process changes
• Configure Load Balancer VIPs, backend/frontend IPs, session distribution and persistence logic
• Raise, track, and close TAC cases end-to-end

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or a Master's in Computer Science / MCA

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: PCNSA, PCNSE, NSE4, Citrix, F5 Load Balancer
• 5 to 7 years of experience in the network security domain
