Scientist I bioinformatics

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze complex NGS datasets including Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS), RNASeq, Small RNA, Metagenomics (16S, ITS, Whole metagenome), QTLseq, and Exome sequencing.
• Develop, implement, and optimize data processing workflows and automated pipelines for efficient NGS data analysis.
• Write and maintain code/scripts in Python, PHP, jQuery, and MySQL to support data processing and automation needs.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret NGS data and provide actionable insights.
• Continuously improve bioinformatics pipelines for accuracy, speed, and scalability.
