SAP TM Consultant

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant to lead the design, configuration, deployment, and enhancement of SAP TM solutions. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, logistics teams, and technical personnel to streamline transportation operations and ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Primary Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze business requirements, translating them into comprehensive functional specifications and tailored solution designs.
• Configure core SAP TM functionalities such as transportation planning, freight order management, charge calculation, and transportation execution workflows.
• Perform fit-gap analysis and support comprehensive SAP TM implementation, deployment, and rollout activities.
• Coordinate with technical teams for system integrations, custom enhancements, and troubleshooting issues.
• Develop and execute System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios, validate outcomes, and oversee defect management processes.
• Provide ongoing production support, conduct root-cause analysis, and recommend process improvements to optimize transportation operations.
• Work closely with business users to enhance system performance, increase process efficiency, and promote user adoption.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
• Between 5 to 15 years of comprehensive experience, with a strong focus on SAP TM functional consulting.
• Proven expertise in SAP TM configuration, requirements gathering, solution design, and functional testing procedures.
• Solid understanding of transportation planning, freight management, and logistics operational processes.
• Experience in SAP TM implementation, system integration, deployment, and providing production support.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
