SAP Suite of Products Testing (Mid-Level Consultants)

Key Responsibilities:

• Primary Duties
• Devise, implement, and execute thorough test scenarios and cases for enhancements and rollouts of SAP systems across various SAP modules.
• Conduct functional integration, system, and regression testing for SAP Retail, SAP FICO, and associated SAP applications, ensuring alignment with business needs and process flows.
• Work collaboratively with functional consultants, business analysts, and developers to comprehend requirements, clarify testing conditions, and ensure comprehensive coverage of essential business operations.
• Create, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts and regression suites utilizing SAP TOSCA or comparable SAP test automation tools.
• Identify, log, track, and manage defects using standard defect management tools, coordinating with technical teams for timely resolution and re-validation.
• Engage in test planning activities, including effort estimation, risk assessment, and defining test strategies for SAP projects, releases, and change requests.
• Verify data integrity, financial accuracy, and consistency of end-to-end processes across integrated SAP modules and related upstream and downstream systems.
• Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test data, supporting business users during execution, and consolidating feedback and defect reports.
• Generate and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, execution reports, defect metrics, traceability matrices, and regular updates for stakeholders.
• Participate in the ongoing enhancement of SAP testing processes, standards, templates, and best practices to improve overall delivery quality.
• Required Skills and Experience
• Extensive hands-on experience in testing SAP Retail processes, encompassing merchandising, pricing, promotions, and store operations, combined with a solid understanding of business processes.
• Demonstrated expertise in SAP FICO testing, including financial postings, integrations, and critical finance scenarios.
• Practical knowledge of SAP TOSCA or similar automation frameworks applicable to SAP environments.
• Experience working across multiple SAP modules in mid to large-scale implementations.
• Proven track record in enhancing test coverage, minimizing defect leakage, and ensuring high-quality SAP releases.
• Familiarity with regression and performance testing methodologies within SAP landscapes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills, with the ability to rapidly grasp complex SAP process flows and identify risk areas.

• Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology (B.Tech) or a related technical field.
• 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP Testing across implementation, rollout, or support projects.
• Strong experience in designing and executing test cases for SAP modules, with knowledge of at least one of SAP Retail, SAP FICO, or related SAP solutions.
• Proven capability in performing functional and integration testing within SAP environments, including defect logging, tracking, and re-testing.
• Robust understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), with experience in structured testing processes and tools.
• Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate test results and issues clearly to stakeholders.
