SAP Suite of Products Testing (Mid-Level Consultants)

Key Responsibilities:

• Primary Duties
• Design and implement thorough test scenarios and test cases for enhancements and rollouts of SAP across various modules
• Conduct functional integration, system, and regression testing for SAP Retail, SAP FICO, and related SAP applications to align with business requirements and process workflows
• Work collaboratively with functional consultants, business analysts, and developers to comprehend requirements, clarify testing conditions, and ensure comprehensive coverage of essential business processes
• Create, manage, and enhance automated test scripts and regression suites utilizing SAP TOSCA or comparable SAP test automation tools
• Identify, log, track, and manage defects using standard defect management tools while closely coordinating with technical teams to guarantee prompt resolution and re-validation
• Engage in test planning activities, including effort estimation, risk assessment, and formulation of test strategies for SAP projects, releases, and change requests
• Confirm data integrity, financial accuracy, and end-to-end process consistency across integrated SAP modules and related upstream and downstream systems
• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test data, aiding business users during execution, and compiling feedback and defect reports
• Draft and maintain comprehensive test documentation, such as test plans, test cases, execution reports, defect metrics, traceability matrices, and regular status updates for stakeholders
• Contribute to the continuous enhancement of SAP testing processes, standards, templates, and best practices to improve overall delivery quality
• Required Skills and Experience
• Extensive hands-on experience in testing SAP Retail processes, including merchandising, pricing, promotions, and store operations, complemented with solid business process knowledge
• Demonstrated expertise in SAP FICO testing, focusing on financial postings, integrations, and critical finance scenarios
• Hands-on experience with SAP TOSCA or similar automation frameworks within SAP environments
• Experience in working across multiple SAP modules during mid to large-scale implementations
• Proven track record of enhancing test coverage, minimizing defect leakage, and ensuring high-quality SAP releases
• Familiarity with regression and performance testing methods within SAP landscapes
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with the capacity to quickly grasp complex SAP process flows and identify risk areas

• Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology (B.Tech or equivalent technical discipline)
• 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP Testing across implementation, rollout, or support projects
• Strong background in designing and executing test cases for SAP modules, with exposure to at least one of SAP Retail, SAP FICO, or related SAP solutions
• Demonstrated ability to perform functional and integration testing in SAP environments, including defect logging, tracking, and re-testing
• In-depth understanding of SDLC and STLC, along with experience in structured testing processes and tools
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clearly communicate test results and issues to stakeholders
