SAP Security/GRC

Job Summary

The Technology Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing secure, scalable SAP security solutions. Emphasis will be placed on SAP GRC Access Control and ABAP Authorization to help ensure secure, reliable SAP system operations. This position combines hands-on technical expertise with domain knowledge in cheminformatics and computational biology to support the company’s innovative projects.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain comprehensive SAP security strategies to protect company data and systems.
• Implement SAP GRC Access Control capabilities to support compliance and risk management objectives.
• Design ABAP Authorization frameworks that strengthen system security and improve user access control.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to embed security measures into existing SAP environments.
• Perform routine security audits and assessments to uncover vulnerabilities and propose actionable improvements.
• Provide technical direction and hands-on support to ensure smooth and uninterrupted SAP operations.
• Monitor and stay current on the latest SAP security trends and technologies to enable continuous innovation.
• Continuously improve SAP security processes to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead or facilitate training sessions for team members on SAP security best practices.
• Review and analyze security incidents, then develop effective action plans to prevent recurrence.
• Contribute to the creation of security policies and procedures that align with industry standards.
• Support the integration and implementation of cheminformatics and computational biology projects within SAP systems.
• Ensure the hybrid work model is used effectively to maintain productivity and ongoing collaboration.

Qualifications

• Have extensive experience in SAP Security, SAP GRC Access Control, and ABAP Authorization.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills and proven problem-solving capabilities.
• Possess knowledge in cheminformatics and computational biology as a nice-to-have skill.
• Show excellent communication skills for effective engagement with stakeholders.
• Maintain a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks.
• Hold a bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
