SAP Security Expert

Key Responsibilities:

SAP Security Administration:

• Manage user administration, role design, and authorization concepts across SAP platforms
• Work with multiple SAP applications including ECC/EHP7, BW/BI, GRC, BOBJ, APO, and SOLMAN
• Support newer SAP technologies such as S/4HANA, Fiori, and GRC 12 (preferred)

Role & Authorization Management:

• Design and maintain SAP roles, profiles, and activity groups
• Review and validate user and role authorizations
• Ensure proper implementation of SAP authorization concepts across systems

Segregation of Duties (SoD):

• Identify, analyze, and mitigate SoD conflicts
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve security risks

AMS Support & Operations:

• Provide support in Application Management Services (AMS) projects
• Participate in incident resolution and problem management activities
• Ensure timely resolution of SAP security issues

Testing & Deployment Support:

• Support UAT, regression testing, and transport movement across environments
• Ensure smooth deployment of SAP security changes to higher environments

Policy & Documentation:

• Design and develop SAP security policies and standards
• Maintain documentation for roles, users, and authorization structures

Stakeholder Management & Support:

• Coordinate with business users and technical teams for requirement analysis
• Provide consulting support for SAP security-related issues
• Manage relationships between internal teams and clients

On-call Support:

• Participate in on-call rotation for off-hour support when required
• Provide timely resolution for critical production issues
