SAP MDG Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• In your role within the Infosys consulting team, you will primarily assist in various stages of projects, including problem identification, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution development, and implementation
• You will investigate alternative solutions by conducting research that encompasses literature reviews, publicly available information, vendor assessments, and more
• Additionally, you will be tasked with constructing Proof of Concepts (POCs)
• Your responsibilities will include translating business needs into requirement specifications, defining future processes, and developing detailed functional designs based on those requirements
• You will aid in configuring solution requirements within the products, identifying any issues, diagnosing their root causes, and exploring potential solution alternatives
• Moreover, you will participate in both unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality, value-driven solutions for our clients

Technical Requirements:

• Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification with at least 1 year of relevant experience
• Experience in SAP MDG projects is essential, specifically in performing MDG Configurations and Customizations across Data Modeling, UI Modeling, Process Modeling, Data Replication Framework, Key Mapping rules, and derivations using BRF
• Proficiency in SAP MDG configurations and replication configurations, along with a solid technical understanding of MDG workflows and ERP tables, is required
• Experience in end-to-end implementation processes, including blueprinting, fit-gap analysis, configurations, data migrations, cutovers, and go-live experiences is necessary
• Candidates should have hands-on experience and technical knowledge related to customizing MDG workflows, Floor Plan Manager, WDABAP, as well as development in BADI ABAP
• Familiarity with WDABAP framework customizations, OOPs programming in SAP MDG, FPM, and UI customizations is also important
• Collaboration with technical teams will be key to completing the SAP MDG implementation for Material, Customer, Supplier, and FI objects
