SAP MDG Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• An overview of your role as an Infoscion
• In your capacity within the Infosys consulting team, your primary responsibility will be to actively support the consulting team through various stages of the project, including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation, design, and deployment.
• You will investigate alternatives to the proposed solutions by conducting research that encompasses literature reviews, publicly available information, vendor evaluations, and more.
• You will also be responsible for building Proof of Concepts (POCs).
• Your tasks will include creating requirement specifications based on business needs, defining 'to-be' processes, and developing detailed functional designs according to those requirements.
• You will assist in configuring solution requirements within the products, diagnosing any issues that arise, seeking necessary clarifications, and identifying and shortlisting potential solution alternatives.
• Additionally, you will engage in unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality, value-added solutions for our clients.

Technical Requirements:

• The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in SAP MDG projects is essential, particularly in performing MDG configurations and customizations across areas such as Data Modeling, UI Modeling, Process Modeling, Data Replication Framework, Key Mapping rules, and derivations BRF.
• Expertise in SAP MDG configurations, replication configurations, and familiarity with MDG workflows and ERP tables is required.
• Experience with the full life cycle of implementation, including blueprinting, fit-gap analysis, configurations, data migrations, cutovers, and go-live processes is necessary.
• Hands-on technical knowledge and experience in customization for MDG workflows, Floor Plan Manager, WDABAP, BRF, and development in BADI ABAP are essential.
• Familiarity with WDABAP framework-based customizations, OOPs programming in SAP MDG, FPM, and UI customizations is important.
• You will collaborate with technical teams to ensure the successful implementation of SAP MDG for Material, Customer, Supplier, and FI objects.

• Capability to engage with clients to identify business challenges and enhance client deliverables through analyzing, refining, and structuring pertinent data.
• Staying informed about the latest technologies and industry trends.
• Demonstrating logical thinking and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Assessing current processes to pinpoint areas for improvement and proposing suitable technology solutions.
• Knowledge of one or two industry domains is advantageous.
