SAP MDG Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience a day in the life of an Infosys professional
• In your role within the Infosys consulting team, you will play a vital part in supporting various project phases such as problem identification, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation, design, and deployment.
• Your responsibilities will include researching alternatives to proposed solutions through literature reviews, publicly available information, and vendor assessments.
• You will also be tasked with developing proof of concepts (POCs).
• Your role will involve creating requirement specifications derived from business needs, defining future processes, and detailing functional designs based on these requirements.
• You'll support the configuration of solution requirements on products, troubleshoot issues, diagnose root causes, seek clarifications, and identify potential solution alternatives.
• Additionally, you will engage in unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality, value-added solutions to our clients.

Technical Requirements:

• The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification, along with a minimum of one year of relevant experience.
• Experience in SAP MDG projects is essential, particularly with performing MDG configurations and customizations in areas such as Data Modeling, UI Modeling, Process Modeling, Data Replication Framework, and Key Mapping rules and derivations (BRF).
• Candidates should have a strong background in SAP MDG configurations, replication setups, and technical knowledge of MDG workflows and ERP tables.
• Comprehensive experience in the full project lifecycle, including blueprinting, fit-gap analysis, configurations, data migrations, cutovers, and go-live procedures is required.
• Hands-on experience with customizations for MDG workflows, Floor Plan Manager, WDABAP, and development in BADI ABAP is necessary.
• Familiarity with WDABAP framework-based customizations and OOPs programming within SAP MDG, as well as UI customizations, is expected.
• You will collaborate with technical teams to ensure the successful completion of SAP MDG implementations for Material, Customer, Supplier, and FI objects.
