SAP MDG Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• A typical day for an Infoscion
• As a member of the Infosys consulting team, your primary responsibility will be to spearhead the engagement process, delivering high-quality and value-driven consulting solutions to clients at various stages—from problem identification and diagnostic analysis to the development and deployment of solution designs.
• You will assess proposals crafted by consultants, provide insightful guidance, and evaluate the solutions established for clients' business challenges to pinpoint any potential risks and concerns.
• You will identify change management needs and suggest a structured strategy to clients for effectively managing change through diverse communication channels.
• Your role will also involve coaching team members and creating a shared vision, delivering subject matter training for your areas of expertise, and motivating and inspiring team members through timely feedback and recognition of outstanding performance.
• You will play a vital role in both unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality, value-added consulting solutions to clients while adhering to the organization's guidelines and processes.

Technical Requirements:

• Applicants should possess a bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with SAP MDG projects is essential, including performing MDG Configurations and Customizations in areas such as Data Modeling, UI Modeling, Process Modeling, Data Replication Framework, and Key Mapping rules and derivations using BRF.
• Candidates should have technical expertise and hands-on experience in customizing MDG workflows, Floor Plan Manager, WDABAP, and development in BADI ABAP.
• Knowledge of WDABAP framework-based customizations, OOPs programming in SAP MDG, FPM, and UI customizations is required.
• Collaborate with technical teams to complete the SAP MDG implementation for Material, Customer, Supplier, and FI objects.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of software configuration management systems.
• Possess robust business acumen, strategic insight, and cross-industry thought leadership.
• Stay informed about the latest technologies and industry trends.
• Demonstrate logical thinking and problem-solving abilities, along with the capability to collaborate effectively.
• Knowledge of two or three industry domains.
• Comprehension of financial processes for various project types and an understanding of the different pricing models available.
• Strong client interfacing skills.
• Familiarity with SDLC and agile methodologies.
• Project and team management expertise.
