Job Description
- Administer and manage SAP systems including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, and Solution Manager
- Perform SAP HANA database administration including backup, recovery, and HANA System Replication
- Install, upgrade, and patch SAP and HANA components
- Monitor system performance, conduct regular health checks, and apply tuning measures
- Handle system copies, client copies, transports, and system refreshes
- Ensure SAP system security including user/role administration and SAP Note implementation
- Conduct deep HANA database performance tuning: memory management, CPU, backups, partitioning, replication
- Lead SAP upgrade/migration projects: S/4HANA conversions, OS/DB migrations, on-prem to cloud transitions
- Perform root cause analysis for system failures across application, DB, OS, and hardware layers
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams for implementation and issue resolution
- Plan and test high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) strategies
- Maintain detailed documentation including operational manuals and architecture diagrams
- Work with SAP systems hosted on Linux and Windows platforms
- Understand cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP for SAP on Cloud deployment
- SAP certifications in BASIS, HANA, or OS/DB migration are considered a plus
