SAP FICO Testing

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop test strategies, test cases, and test scripts for SAP FICO modules based on functional and business requirements.
• Perform system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing.
• Validate configurations and custom developments in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Controlling (CO), Cost Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.
• Execute end-to-end business process testing involving FICO and integrated modules (MM, SD, PP).
• Log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or TestRail.
• Coordinate with SAP Functional Consultants, Developers, and Business Analysts to clarify requirements and test outcomes.
• Support data validation, cutover, and post-go-live testing activities.
• Document test evidence, defects, and test results for audit and compliance purposes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in SAP testing, with a focus on FICO.
• Strong understanding of SAP FICO processes and their integration with other modules.
• Experience in both manual testing and using test management tools.
• Familiarity with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Basic knowledge of test automation tools (like Worksoft, Tricentis Tosca, or UFT) is a plus.
