SAP eCommerce/Hybris Technical

Job Summary

As an Adaptive Experience Designer, you will create smooth, inclusive digital commerce journeys using SAP Commerce Hybris and Spartacus, supported by advanced expertise in SOAP REST services and Solr configuration. You will develop tailored experiences for global customers within a hybrid work model, ensuring high performance accessibility and strong alignment with business outcomes across ISV and hi tech domains.

Responsibilities

• Design adaptive customer journeys across web and mobile channels, using SAP Commerce Hybris capabilities to deliver relevant and inclusive experiences for diverse audiences in ISV and hi tech domains.
• Configure and optimize Spartacus storefronts to support responsive layouts, intuitive navigation, and a consistent user experience across devices, while meeting performance and accessibility goals.
• Develop and integrate SOAP and REST based services to enable dependable communication between front end experiences and back end systems, with an emphasis on data integrity and security.
• Work closely with product owners and business stakeholders to convert complex commerce requirements into clear experience design specifications and interaction patterns that support strategic objectives.
• Partner with SAP Commerce technical teams to enhance catalog structures, promotions, and personalization rules, helping users easily find products and services that match their needs.
• Implement and fine tune Solr configurations to improve search relevance, faceted navigation, autocomplete behavior, and ranking strategies for faster and more accurate search experiences.
• Perform usability evaluations and experience reviews using analytics insights and user feedback to pinpoint friction points and recommend data driven design enhancements for commerce flows.
• Produce documentation for experience guidelines, interaction standards, and configuration practices to maintain consistency across releases and support long term scalability of the experience platform.
• Coordinate with quality and testing teams to confirm that configured experiences, integrations, and search behaviors operate as intended and deliver stable outcomes in day shift hybrid work conditions.
• Ensure day to day design and configuration activities follow accessibility and inclusivity principles so solutions can be used effectively by a broad range of users and contribute positively to society.
• Provide expert guidance on adaptive experience strategies to help the company create more engaging digital channels and strengthen its presence in the global hi tech ecosystem.
• Assist continuous improvement efforts by reviewing existing SOAP REST integrations, Spartacus components, and Solr settings to reduce technical debt and improve maintainability.
• Enable cross team collaboration in a hybrid work environment by sharing knowledge of SAP Commerce Hybris capabilities and experience design practices that improve overall delivery quality.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate strong hands on experience with SAP Commerce Hybris, including configuring core commerce modules and extension frameworks to support complex business scenarios.
• Show advanced capability in SOAP REST service design and integration to build stable, scalable interfaces that connect experience layers with enterprise systems.
• Apply practical expertise in Spartacus configuration and customization to deliver modular, reusable front end components that reflect modern experience design standards.
• Exhibit a deep understanding of Solr configurations, including schema tuning, query optimization, and relevancy adjustments, to provide high performing search functionality.
• Bring working knowledge of ISV and hi tech domains to frame experience decisions using typical industry use cases, licensing models, and digital product offerings.
• Use at least six to eight years of professional experience in digital commerce and experience design to handle complex requirements and deliver robust adaptive solutions.

Certifications Required

SAP Certified Development Professional SAP Commerce and optional certification in RESTful API design or enterprise search technologies
