SAP BODS Administrator

• As a key member of the Infosys consulting team, your main objective will be to delve into customer challenges, identify problem areas, design creative solutions, and facilitate implementation, ultimately ensuring client satisfaction
• You will take ownership of specific sections within a proposal document, contributing insights into solution design based on your areas of expertise
• You will schedule and manage configuration activities, adapt the product according to the design, conduct conference room pilots, and assist in addressing any inquiries related to requirements and solution design
• Your responsibilities will include providing solution product demonstrations, conducting Proof of Concept (POC) workshops, and preparing effort estimates that align with customer budget considerations while adhering to the organization’s financial protocols
• Play an active role in leading small-scale projects and participating in unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality, value-adding solutions to clients

Technical Requirements:

• Proven experience in SAP Data Services installation, configuration, and administration
• Expertise in managing repositories, job servers, and access servers
• Hands-on skills in CMC job monitoring and performance optimization
• Familiarity with event-based scheduling and metadata management
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities and documentation skills
• Work collaboratively with development teams to support data integration, profiling, and metadata management efforts
• Oversee job execution, troubleshoot performance challenges, and ensure the high availability and reliability of ETL processes
• Responsible for installation, configuration, repository management, job server setup, and user security management
• Administer SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) environments across development, QA, and production

• Capable of devising value-creating strategies and models that empower clients to innovate, enhance growth, and boost business profitability
• Solid understanding of software configuration management systems
• Awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends
• Logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities, complemented by a collaborative spirit
• Comprehension of financial processes across various project types and the associated pricing models
• Aptitude for evaluating current processes, identifying areas for enhancement, and recommending appropriate technological solutions
• Knowledge of one or two industry domains
• Strong client interfacing abilities
