Sap Basis Consultant

Job Description:

• We are seeking a SAP Basis Consultant with 1 to 2 years of expertise in SAP Basis administration and support for SAP landscapes.
• The selected candidate will oversee the monitoring of SAP systems, assist with installations, upgrades, transports, and manage daily Basis operations across various SAP environments.
• The ideal applicant should possess a solid understanding of SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, and core system administration principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and sustain SAP system landscapes, including Development, QA, and Production environments.
• Assist with SAP installations, configurations, patches, and upgrades under the supervision of senior Basis consultants.
• Help with transport management, kernel upgrades, support package implementations, and system refresh tasks.
• Monitor system performance and conduct basic troubleshooting for SAP applications.
• Support the administration of SAP HANA databases and routine Basis operations.
• Engage in system health checks, backups, and monitoring activities.
• Collaborate with both functional and technical teams to address SAP system challenges.
• Contribute to implementation, migration, upgrade, and support projects.

Technical Requirements:

• 1 to 2 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration.
• Fundamental understanding of SAP Basis concepts and SAP system landscapes.
• Experience with monitoring and maintaining SAP environments across Development, QA, and Production systems.
• Assist in SAP installation, configuration, and support tasks.
• Support essential Basis functions such as transports, kernel upgrades, support packs, and system refresh activities.
• Basic knowledge of performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and system tuning.
• Familiarity with SAP NetWeaver, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Solution Manager.
• Basic understanding of SAP HANA administration and cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Linux, Unix, and database concepts.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with functional and technical teams.
• SAP Certification is a plus.
• Willingness to work within a support environment and learn new SAP technologies.
