Sap Abap Technical Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Technical Consultant to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in ABAP programming and be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing ABAP programs to meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining ABAP programs and enhancements in SAP systems.
• Collaborating with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Performing unit testing and assisting in system testing and user acceptance testing.
• Troubleshooting and debugging existing ABAP programs to resolve issues and improve performance.
• Creating technical documentation for developed programs and customizations.
• Ensuring compliance with SAP best practices and development standards.

Skills and Qualifications

• 8-13 years of experience in SAP ABAP development and programming.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP programming language and its various components (Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms).
• Experience with SAP modules such as FI, MM, SD, or HR.
• Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) in ABAP.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and Fiori development is a plus.
• Experience with performance tuning and debugging of ABAP programs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
