Salesforce tech lead + Business analyst
Job Description
Salesforce Technical Leadership:
- Lead end-to-end Salesforce implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, and deployment.
- Architect scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Components, Flow, and Salesforce APIs.
- Guide development team members, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems (ERP, TPO tools, TPM platforms, etc.).
- Manage DevOps processes using tools like Git, CI/CD, and Salesforce DX.
Business Analysis & TPM/TPO Expertise:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, sales, finance, and marketing teams to gather and analyze TPM/TPO requirements.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Design workflows, promotion planning logic, accrual management, and ROI tracking within Salesforce or integrated TPM platforms.
- Support data mapping, migration, and validation between legacy TPM/TPO systems and Salesforce.
- Lead UAT sessions and ensure solution aligns with business goals and KPIs.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team.
- Partner with product owners, trade analysts, and solution architects to prioritize and refine the backlog.
- Prepare and deliver presentations/demos to executive stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Salesforce development and solution architecture.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner on TPM/TPO initiatives.
- Deep understanding of TPM lifecycle: promotion planning, funding, claims management, and post-event analysis.
- Familiarity with TPO solutions like Oracle Demantra, SAP TPO, or Anaplan Trade.
- Strong experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Proficient in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows.
- Solid grasp of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Certified Business Analyst, Application Architect) are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud, or Consumer Goods Cloud.
- Knowledge of CPG or Retail domain processes.
- Experience working with offshore teams.
- Familiarity with ETL/data tools (Informatica, MuleSoft, Boomi).
