We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager/Business Development Manager for our Freight Forwarding division. This role will be pivotal in driving sales growth and expanding our market presence in India.

Position Overview:

Achieve sales and profitability goals as established by the Branch. Identify & secure new

customers. Identify, qualify and develop opportunities for new business in assigned territory.

PROMOTE AIR/OCEAN- EXPORT AND IMPORT CUSTOMER

Key Responsibilities:

Achieve sales and profitability goals as established by the Branch.

Generates more profitable clients for achieve branch monthly target.

Provide regular activity and sales reports to the reporting manager

Introduce the organization to all the customers in the region assigned.

Identify & secure new customers.

Expand & explore new territories Increase the profit margin of existing customers

Ensure customer satisfaction through regular contact with existing / new accounts

Negotiate with clients and prepare / manage rate quotations, proposals and other sales materials 

ontinually improve the scope, the business foots prints of the company & increase the market

share

Clearly understand and ensure compliance with all company procedures and policies

Identify, qualify, and develop opportunities for new business in assigned territory

Support lane development strategies.

Present our strength areas & highlight key achievement of organization to make an impression with

customer

Develop continuous improvement methodology in key areas of sales, profit and growth

Optimize the conversion of business opportunities

Maintain good relationship with operations team, external partners and customers

Ensure the payments are collected within the agreed credit period

Perform other duties as assigned by the company.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate with 4-10 Years

Key Competencies:

• Proven experience in a freight forwarding company, preferably with a focus on international

sales.

• Experience in field sales within the Freight business, B2B sales, Air Export/ Import & Ocean

Import/ Export.

• Ability to achieve sales and profitability targets for the branch.

• Strong ability to identify and secure new customers in the region.

• Experience in promoting Air and Ocean Export/Import services.

• Proven track record of developing new business opportunities and expanding market reach.

• Strong relationship management skills with the ability to maintain strong relationships with

clients and internal teams.

• Knowledge of Airfreight & Ocean freight operations, FCL/LCL services.
