Job Description
- Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Conduct daily site safety inspections
- Ensure all workers follow safety rules and procedures
- Investigate accidents and prepare incident reports
- Monitor work permits (hot work, height work, confined space, etc.)
- Ensure proper use of PPE by workers
- Conduct safety induction for new employees
- Maintain safety documentation and compliance records
- Coordinate emergency drills (fire, evacuation, etc.)
- Report unsafe conditions to management immediately.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards
- Risk assessment and hazard identification skills
- Knowledge of construction/site safety practices
- Incident investigation and root cause analysis
- Emergency response planning
- Good communication and training skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Knowledge of PPE and safety equipment usage
- Report preparation and documentation skills
- Awareness of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS).
