Rugby - Pri. Test engineer - VRF/PAC

What You Will Do:

• Lead Product Validation: Drive VRF/PAC product validation by collaborating with global teams, leading test standard creation, and executing projects to ensure the product meets required performance standards.
• Team Leadership: Manage a team of engineers responsible for tracking and executing VRF product validation, solving complex technical issues, and overseeing product and lab testing.
• Issue Communication: Effectively communicate technical and functional issues across diverse audiences, ensuring clarity and alignment on issues and solutions.
• Test Management: Oversee all aspects of test design, planning, strategy, and execution, including test case/scenario preparation, test data preparation, and defect reporting/documentation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product engineering, development, project management, and quality assurance to mitigate risks and ensure timely delivery.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in test processes and standards. Introduce new technologies or processes for labs and product validation.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure the validation processes align with design standards, compliance requirements, and industry certifications such as ISO 17025.

• Leadership & Team Building: Lead and motivate a global team of testing professionals, promoting innovation, collaboration, and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Testing Methodologies: Demonstrate strong knowledge of testing methodologies, Design Quality Assurance (DQA) mindset, and design engineering processes.
• Adaptability & Problem Solving: Exhibit the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with multiple priorities while showing quick turnaround for product design and testing issues.
• Process Improvement: Use DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and other tools to identify areas of improvement and lead the team to solve technical issues.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between product engineers, developers, project managers, and product owners to resolve issues and ensure project risks are managed.
• Proof of Concepts (PoC): Develop PoCs to demonstrate new ideas, process improvements, or new technologies for lab validation.

What We Look For:

Required Qualifications:

• Education: BE/B.Tech (Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology).
• Experience: 10 to 12 years of experience in new product development and validation, specifically within the VRF/PAC domain.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of DFMEA, test standards, and compliance requirements.
• Six Sigma & ISO 17025: Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies, excellent MS Office skills, and ISO 17025 certification.
• Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel both within India and internationally for project-related needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Product Development & Testing Management: Previous experience managing product development, product testing, and change tracking for large-scale VRF/PAC projects.
• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Adaptability & Motivation: Highly motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn new techniques to improve product validation processes.
