Rugby - Manager, VRF/PAC System Design

Responsibility

• Collaborate with GPM and support Platform leader to convert PV requirement from global market into product specification
• Support Cycle design and Structure design team to create variants for different market requirements along with budget plan for overall project
• Prepare System development and validation plan for different markets in collaboration with project engineering team while defining all engineering review dates
• Responsible for VRF product system design estimation with respect to Cycle and structure performance and cost assessment, design validation
• Follow new product development process to control design quality, project budget, product cost, time to market
• Lead team to deliver system design document for design reviews
• Establish and update overall system design standard and system integration including component selection and validation
• Implement VRF product cost reduction, maintenance and continuous improvement activities
• Conduct troubleshooting to treat customer complaints
• Participate in product benchmarking activity
• Track system integration design while considering cycle and structure design, considering performance and safety requirements of the system
• Participate in cycle and structure related technology study together with advanced development team
• Set the annual performance target and key focus in alignment with the supervisor
• Conduct the performance review as scheduled
• Create a personal annual training plan to improve competence

Requirements

Mandatory

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Refrigeration
• 15+ years of experience working in HVAC company with experience in VRF system design
• Capable of project management while managing communication/collaboration with overseas teams
• Familiar with HVAC product regulations (CE, CB, GB, UL, AHRI, IEC, etc.)
