RGM - Data Scientist

Key Responsibilities:

• CORE DUTIES
• Envision, research, design, and implement scalable AI and ML applications that generate measurable value.
• Develop and deploy comprehensive AI and ML solutions, including the refinement and customization of cutting-edge Machine Learning algorithms and systems, as well as AI models.
• Engage in the design, development, and research of Machine Learning systems, models, and schemas through data science and analytics prototypes.
• Commit to continuous learning and obtain certifications.
• Adopt an incubation mindset with a research-focused approach to deliver rapid Proof of Concepts (POCs) and generate innovative ideas.
• Demonstrate strong communication and documentation skills, sharing knowledge effectively, conducting presentations, engaging with clients and stakeholders, and producing high-quality technical documentation.
• Exhibit problem-solving capabilities with a deep technical understanding to address real-world challenges while considering business imperatives.

Technical Requirements:

• ESSENTIAL SKILLS
• Design, build, and deploy ML models on hyperscaler platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP, or Databricks, with expertise in large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics.
• Implement Generative AI models for business applications, with experience in Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Vertex AI, or open-source alternatives.
• Proficient in Python programming with a focus on robust coding practices.
• Develop a framework or generic pipeline for the retrieval, optimization, and deployment of Open Source Models.
• Explore and design reference architectures for the development of virtual assistants utilizing foundation models.
• Familiarity with deep learning and machine learning frameworks such as Keras, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Experience with HuggingFace Transformers and libraries including scikit-learn, spaCy, Gensim, and CoreNLP.
• WORKING KNOWLEDGE
• Understanding of LLMs and Generative AI, particularly in relation to text and image analysis and training.
• Experience in fine-tuning LLM models and implementing AI guardrails, focusing on Responsible AI Frameworks, explainability, bias detection, and hallucination control.
• Familiarity with the implementation of LangChain Frameworks.
• Basic knowledge of Linux and HTTP REST.
• Experience with cloud technologies, specifically GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.
