Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in the development and customization of the RDKV Reference Design Kit Video platform.
• Design and implement multimedia web browser solutions tailored for embedded systems.
• Focus on the customization of WebKit WPE porting and enhancements to the browser engine.
• Contribute to OTT streaming solutions with an emphasis on performance and scalability.
• Develop and optimize graphics rendering using OpenGL ES2.
• Implement and refine functionalities related to MSE Media Source Extensions and EME Encrypted Media Extensions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive delivery of features.
• Identify and resolve issues related to performance, stability, and compatibility in embedded environments.

Technical Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in developing web browsers for embedded systems, particularly in multimedia.
• Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming languages.
• Demonstrated experience in WebKit WPE porting and/or development, along with solid knowledge of other web browser engines.
• Experience in HTML and JavaScript code development, with a thorough understanding of how this translates to web browser engines.
• Proficiency in OpenGL ES2 and graphics programming.
• Substantial embedded Linux experience and a solid grasp of real-time operating system concepts.
• Expertise in the development of MSE and EME extensions.
• Familiarity with DRM technologies used in OTT streaming, including PlayReady and Widevine.
• Good understanding of various streaming technologies and audio/video containers such as HLS and MPEG DASH.
• Knowledge of modern rendering techniques and window managers, with experience in Wayland, Weston, or Westeros being a significant advantage.
