RDK Middleware Developer

Job Description:

• We are seeking an Embedded Software Developer proficient in Embedded C, C++, Linux, RDK V Middleware, Networking, and Yocto to join our team focusing on Digital TV Set Top Box (STB) and Cable Modem platforms.
• This position entails embedded software development, debugging, enhancing platforms, implementing security updates, and providing support for hardware and software upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and sustain embedded software utilizing Embedded C and C++.
• Engage with Linux-based STB and Digital TV platforms.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of components within the RDK V Middleware.
• Utilize the Yocto build system for embedded Linux platforms.
• Develop and troubleshoot components associated with Networking and Cable Modems.
• Assist in new hardware bring-up and platform upgrades.
• Facilitate security updates, monitor CVEs, and implement system hardening measures.
• Collaborate closely with development, QA, delivery teams, and external vendors.

Technical Requirements:

• Embedded C and C++ proficiency.
• Experience with Linux and Embedded Linux systems.
• Familiarity with RDK V Middleware.
• Knowledge of the Yocto build system.
• Understanding of Networking concepts.
• Experience with Cable Modem technologies.
• Proficiency in STB and Digital TV platforms.
• Version control using Git.
