Rail Engineer - TRN

Job description

Key Responsibilities :

• Experience and understanding of rail industrial development design, surface grading, Geometric design, Corridor modelling, underground services, utilities, drains etc.
• Preparation of Drawings for Rail Plan and profile, Typical section, Cross sections, Layout setting and General arrangement drawings.
• Perform Regression analysis.
• Experience in rail and roadway bridges/structures preferred but not required.
• Interference Check with other disciplines and resolution of Inter Disciplinary Clashes.
• Willing to advance in career by taking increased engineering design responsibilities by
• closely working with discipline lead engineer.
• A committed team player able to work on their own initiative.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good Communication skills (verbal written) and ability to self-check and produce accurate work.

Tools:

• MicroStation or AutoCAD
• Open Rail, Open Roads, Inroads, Civil 3D
• Microsoft Office Tools - MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, Outlook, OneNote

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.

Minimum

• 2 to 6 years of experience in preparing the drawings for civil works like rail, drains, excavation, grading etc.
• Working knowledge of design codes and standards used in Rail Engineering designs.
