Job Description

About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Control Team Leader (QC TL) to oversee and manage the quality control process at Paytm Hub. The QC TL will ensure that all products and processes meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. This role involves maintaining efficient workflows and fostering a culture of quality within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular/weekly/monthly audits at sound box refurbishment hubs to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor QC processes and procedures to ensure compliance with both internal and external quality requirements.
  • Analyze field failure and implement CAPA at sound box refurbishment hubs.
  • Regularly audit the quality process, PDI process, and check sheet and share daily/weekly reports with senior management.
  • Perform routine inspections and testing/calibration of products, materials, and processes to verify quality standards are met.
  • Ensure that all quality control documentation is maintained, accurate, and up to date.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformance issues.
  • Coordinate with production teams to implement quality improvement initiatives and best practices.
  • Ensure proper handling and documentation of materials and finished goods in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, with at least 1 year in a leadership position.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methods, and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, ISO, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail and good command over Google Sheets.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in using quality control software and data analysis tools.
