Quality Assurance Professional

Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Planning

• Design and implement comprehensive QA and testing strategies for integration platforms
• Develop test plans for SaaS products with focus on APIs and integration layers
• Define test scope, coverage, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with stakeholders

API & Integration Testing

• Perform and oversee API testing using tools like Postman
• Validate integration flows across multiple enterprise applications
• Ensure correctness, reliability, and performance of MuleSoft-based services

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and mentor a QA automation team (2–4 members)
• Drive a culture of quality, ownership, and continuous improvement
• Guide team members in automation development and test execution

Test Automation & Framework Ownership

• Own and enhance automation testing frameworks for integration testing
• Review automation scripts and ensure scalability and maintainability
• Collaborate with automation engineers to improve test coverage

Execution & Quality Assurance

• Create and execute test cases, test plans, and integration test scenarios
• Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and documentation practices
• Work closely with development teams to improve unit testing coverage

Defect & Reporting Management

• Track, manage, and report bugs using tools like Azure DevOps or similar platforms
• Create dashboards and reports for testing progress and quality metrics
• Provide insights through analytics for quality improvement

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Product Owners and Business Analysts to refine requirements
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and business teams for end-to-end testing
• Ensure smooth coordination across multiple platform applications
