Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Mentorship

Lead and mentor the QA team in implementing automated testing frameworks.
Provide guidance on best practices, standards, and test strategy execution.
Perform code reviews for automated test scripts to ensure maintainability and quality.

Test Automation & Execution

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites for web applications using Python and Playwright.
Analyze test results, generate reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Continuously improve test automation coverage, efficiency, and reliability.

Collaboration & Process Management

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into effective test strategies.
Define, enforce, and optimize QA processes, standards, and best practices.
Manage test environments and coordinate testing activities across multiple releases.

CI/CD & Tooling Integration

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
Stay updated with latest testing tools, trends, and technologies.

Required Skills & Experience:

5–8 years of experience in QA automation with strong Python expertise.
Hands-on experience with Playwright for web automation testing.
Knowledge of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
Experience with test frameworks such as Pytest or unittest.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
Experience leading and mentoring QA teams.
Strong scripting, debugging, and version control skills (Git).
Knowledge of software testing methodologies including functional, regression, and performance testing.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Selenium or Cypress.
API testing using Postman or REST-assured.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
ISTQB or equivalent certification.
