Job Summary

We are seeking a Quality Engineer (QE) to help ensure that software applications are high-quality, functional, and reliable. In this role, you will validate application features, uncover and document defects, and work closely with development teams to deliver software that meets quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out manual and functional testing of applications.
Review business requirements and develop test scenarios and test cases.
Run test cases and record test outcomes.
Detect, report, monitor, and retest defects to support timely resolution.
Conduct regression, smoke, and functional testing as required.
Partner with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements.
Keep test documentation up to date and share consistent testing status updates.
Support test automation efforts and help improve QA processes.
Verify that application quality aligns with business requirements and acceptance criteria.

Required Skills

Knowledge of software testing principles and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Experience performing manual and functional testing.
Understanding of test case design, test execution, and defect management.
Familiarity with defect-tracking tools such as Jira.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to interpret requirements and identify gaps
