QA Engineer

Position Overview

We are looking for a meticulous QA Engineer to join our dynamic team based in India. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining the high standards of our software applications by conducting comprehensive testing and quality assurance activities to verify functionality, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts to validate software functionality.
• Perform both manual and automated testing procedures to ensure product excellence.
• Detect, document, and monitor software defects, ensuring proper resolution and communication.
• Work closely with development teams to gain a thorough understanding of product features, specifications, and functionality.
• Participate in design and code reviews, offering insights to improve quality and adherence to standards.
• Create comprehensive test reports and communicate testing outcomes and quality status to relevant stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent discipline.
• Between 2 to 8 years of professional experience in software quality assurance or testing roles.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, or JUnit.
• Proficiency in programming languages including Java, Python, or C# for automation scripting purposes.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and management tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar platforms.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
