QA Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for a meticulous QA Engineer with 2 to 4 years of professional experience to become a valuable part of our team based in India. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the high quality of our software products through comprehensive testing procedures and close collaboration with development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases across various software platforms.
• Identify, document, and monitor software defects and issues to facilitate prompt resolution.
• Work closely with development teams to uphold quality standards throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
• Conduct regression testing to verify that all functionalities perform correctly following updates and modifications.
• Participate in reviews of requirements, specifications, and design documents to ensure they are testable and comprehensive.
• Create and maintain automated testing scripts and tools to improve testing efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Proficiency in programming languages including Java, Python, or C# to develop automated tests.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
