QA Engineer

Job Overview

We are on the lookout for a meticulous QA Engineer with 2-4 years of relevant experience to become a part of our team in India. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the quality of our software applications by conducting thorough testing and engaging actively with development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases for a variety of software applications.
• Recognize, document, and monitor software defects and issues effectively.
• Work closely with development teams to uphold quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct regression testing to verify that all functionalities operate correctly following updates and modifications.
• Engage in the assessment of requirements, specifications, and design documentation to ensure they are testable.
• Create and sustain automated test scripts and tools as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Expertise in software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Proficient in programming languages like Java, Python, or C# for the purpose of test automation.
• Acquainted with bug tracking systems like JIRA, Bugzilla, or comparable tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.
