QA engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for a talented QA Engineer to become a part of our innovative team in India. The perfect candidate will be instrumental in maintaining the quality and performance of our software offerings through methodical testing and quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases that align with project specifications.
• Detect, document, and monitor bugs and issues using various bug tracking software.
• Work closely with development teams to comprehend project demands and offer insights on product functionality.
• Conduct regression testing to verify that existing features function correctly following updates.
• Engage in code reviews and contribute suggestions for improving testability and overall quality.
• Create and sustain automated test scripts utilizing tools such as Selenium or similar frameworks.
• Generate test reports and documentation to share with stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 2-8 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Solid grasp of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies.
• Experience with automated testing tools, including Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or equivalent.
• Skilled in writing SQL queries for database testing and validation purposes.
• Familiarity with bug tracking platforms such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks concurrently.
