QA Engineer

Overview

We are on the lookout for a talented QA Engineer to join our team in India. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and performance of our software applications by implementing thorough testing and validation procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
• Detect, document, and monitor defects utilizing appropriate tools and methodologies.
• Work closely with developers and product managers to comprehend requirements and provide insights regarding software usability and functionality.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure new features do not negatively impact existing functionalities.
• Engage in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to ongoing improvement efforts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3-6 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
• Proficient in various testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Practical experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# is advantageous.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality assurance.
