QA Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for a meticulous QA Engineer to become a valuable member of our team in India. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in software testing and quality assurance, emphasizing the delivery of exceptional software products. Your responsibilities will include creating and executing test plans, detecting defects, and collaborating closely with developers to improve the overall quality of our applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Identify, document, and monitor defects using bug tracking systems.
• Work in partnership with development teams to enhance software quality and performance.
• Conduct regression testing to verify that software updates do not introduce new issues.
• Engage in design and code reviews to offer insights on quality and testability.
• Execute performance and load testing to evaluate system behavior under pressure.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices in software testing.

Qualifications and Skills

• 2-8 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
• Expertise in automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Deep understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in crafting clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proficient in SQL with experience in database testing.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
